Benefits

The Kerala Tailoring Workers’ Welfare Fund Board provides 10 Benefits including pensionary benefits. At present Rs.1600 is given monthly as retirement pension. This amount is provided as a Grant to the Board by the Government. Disability pension and family pension are given from the own fund of the Board. The qualifying period for eligibility to claim all the benefits is 3 years after obtaining the membership of the Board and application for all the benefits can be submitted online through the website of the Board.
The application for various benefits under the Kerala Tailoring Workers' Welfare Scheme can be submitted online through the website of the Kerala Tailoring Workers' Welfare Fund Board; www.tailorwelfare.in

Amount - Rs. 5000/-

  1. Eligibility: 3 Years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Copies of Marriage Cetificate & Bank Passbook
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of marriage ( the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same).

Amount in Total.Rs.15000/- (2000+ 13000)

  1. Eligibility: 3 Years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Copies of Birth Certificate & Bank passbook (if it is a Stillborn then copy of the Certificate of the Fetal death).
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of Delivery ( the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same)

Amount - Rs. 2000/-

  1. Eligibility: 3 Years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Copies of S.S.L.C Certificate, Certificate of Qualifying Exam., Course certificate & Bank passbook
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days of the declaration of the result ( the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same)

Amount - Upto Rs.5000 for non-fatal diseases and upto25000 for fatal Diseases (Heart,Kidney,Cancer,Brain Tumur, Rheumatism)

  1. Eligibility: 3 Years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Certificate from a Doctor not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon in Government Service, Copies of Bank Passbook and Discharge Certificate
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of discharge ( the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same)

Amount - Minimum Rs. 1600/- (from 01/04/2021)

  1. Eligibility: 3 years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Welfare Fund Passbook, ID card (Original), Family photo, Copies of Aadhar Card and Bank Passbook
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of retirement (the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same).

Amount - Minimum Pension Rs. 1600/- per month

  1. Eligibility: 3 years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Disability certificate from medical board, Welfare Fund Passbook, ID card (Original), Photo, Copies of Aadhar Card and Bank Passbook
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of retirement (the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same).

Minimum Pension Rs. 1600/- per month

  1. Documents to be uploaded: Death certificate of the pensioner, Legal heirship certificate, Recent photo, Aadhar Card, and Bank Passbook
  2. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of retirement (the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same).

  1. In case of not being a member of Tailoring Board,refund application can be submitted after cancelling the membership from the Welfare Board.
  2. Welfare fund passbook, original ID card, aadhar card and bank passbook copy must be submitted along with the application.
  3. Out of the total contribution made, refund will be given after deducting both board’s share 5% and any benefits availed from the Welfare Board.

Amount - Total Contribution paid along with interest @5.5% from the various dates of payment up to a maximum of Rs. 150000/-

  1. Eligibility: 3 years of service
  2. Documents to be uploaded: On the basis of application for retirement benefit
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of retirement (the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same).

Amount - Rs. 40,000 + 2,000 contribution paid

  1. Eligibility: Service period – non-mandatory
  2. Documents to be uploaded: Copies of Death Certificate, Welfare Fund Passbook of the Deceased Employee, ID Card (original), Legal Heirship Certificate of the Applicant, Copy of Bank Passbook
  3. The time period to claim the benefit: Within 90 days from the date of death of the employee (the delay of 6 months can be condoned upon the submission of an application for the same).
